Most of you that pay attention know that a whole series of leaked emails have lately become public which show that some important researchers into man-made global warming have been doing a wee bit of cheating. Powerline has been covering these emails in detail so I won't replicate their work.
What i find interesting is the response of the New York Times. They write:
The documents appear to have been acquired illegally and contain all manner of private information and statements that were never intended for the public eye, so they won’t be posted here.
This is the same New York Times that illegally acquired information about a top secret program in which the U.S. government intercepted calls from known terrorists into the U.S. Not only did they publish the intormation and give the U.S. a major setback in the war on terror, but they were proud of their work.
Thus, the nexus between "science" and liberal lies continues at the NYT. The Walter Duranty style of journalism continues.
